It's never to late, Break the Addiction

Treatment Elements

There are many factors or elements that can decide whether an addiction treatment program will be successful or not. While the type and nature of the chemical dependence or substance addiction is a major consideration in the type of treatment that will be designed for a particular individual, its success all boils down to the willingness of the individual seeking treatment to really do everything he possibly can to start his journey of recovering from substance addiction or chemical dependence.

At Sprout Health Group, we generally adhere to three core elements in our addiction treatment programs, all of which helps us ensure that our clients will be more successful in living more sober, more addiction-free, and healthier lives.

assessmentThe backbone of all of Sprout’s addiction treatment programs, comprehensive assessment provides our expert clinicians with the correct information about the condition including co-occurring disorders of each of our clients. It is important to obtain very accurate and timely information about our clients’ health statuses in order to develop a more comprehensive and truly individualized addiction treatment plan. The assessment will include a comprehensive medical evaluation of the individual’s health history, physical examination, and laboratory and diagnostic tests as well as an in-depth psychiatric evaluation of his mental health status. Additionally, cognitive testing will be performed to determine the individual’s cognitive and thought processes while pharmacogenetic testing will determine the suitability of an individual to certain types of treatments. Toxicology testing will also provide a basis for the type of treatment plan appropriate for the type and nature of toxins present in the body.

Therapeutic Modalities

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is the cornerstone of change in all of Sprout’s chemical dependence or substance addiction treatment and recovery programs. It is our genuine belief that individuals who are able to identify unhealthy patterns of thinking as the cause of their chemical dependence and substitute it with healthier patterns will have a much greater chance of success in leaving behind the life of chemical dependence or substance addiction. In addition to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sprout Health Group also provides Solution-focused Brief Therapy, Brief Strategic Family Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing or EMDR Therapy, Psychoeducational Groups, Mindfulness Therapy, Brain Wellness Program, and Cognitive Retraining.

These are the three fundamental treatment elements observed by the Sprout Health Group. We believe that the success of therapeutic modalities can be greatly enhanced when combined with the most appropriate experiential therapy as identified during the comprehensive assessment phase of the treatment program.

Experiential Therapies

These therapies are largely based on creating a pleasant, relaxing, and enjoyable experience for individuals so that they will feel more motivated to continue on improving their lives long after they are done with the different therapeutic modalities at Sprout. The goal of experiential therapies is to allow individuals to re-learn some of the feelings or emotions that have been masked artificially by their addictions or chemical dependencies. Equine Therapy, Family Therapy, Outdoor Therapy, Yoga and Meditation, Neurofeedback, Group Therapy are some of the complementary experiential therapies that our team of expert clinicians and therapists are highly qualified to provide.
